Overview
Diffusitron is an AI art creation app published by Nervous Energy, LLC. You can delete your Diffusitron account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This page explains how to request deletion and what happens to your data afterward.
Delete Specific Data Without Closing Your Account
You don't have to delete your entire account to remove data. From inside the app you can:
- Delete individual images or videos from your private gallery — open the item and tap delete.
- Unpublish content from the public feed so it's no longer visible to other users.
- Disable analytics in Settings, which stops further analytics collection.
- Disable push notifications in your device settings, which removes the associated push token.
Deletions made through the app are processed immediately. If you need help removing specific data and can't do it from the app, email diffusitron@nervous-energy.com.
Delete From Inside the App
The fastest way to delete your account is from the app itself:
- Open the Diffusitron app on your device.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Account.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
Once confirmed, your account is signed out immediately and queued for deletion. No further action is required from you.
Delete by Email Request
If you can't access the app, send an email to diffusitron@nervous-energy.com from the email address associated with your Diffusitron account with the subject line "Delete My Account". We will verify your identity and process the deletion within 30 days.
What Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, the following personal data is permanently removed within 30 days:
- Your account record (email, display name, profile photo, Firebase user ID)
- Your private gallery images and videos
- Your generation history and prompts
- Your followers, following, and likes
- Your push notification tokens and device records
- Your Mixpanel analytics profile (if analytics were enabled)
- Your RevenueCat subscriber record
What May Be Retained
Some data may be retained after account deletion, either because it has been disassociated from your identity or because we are legally required to keep it:
- Public feed content: Images you published to the public feed remain visible unless you unpublish them before deleting your account. After deletion they are detached from your username.
- Purchase records: Transaction records held by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat are retained as required by tax, accounting, and consumer-protection law (typically 7 years).
- Crash reports: Anonymized crash logs are retained for up to 90 days for debugging purposes.
- Abuse / fraud records: If your account was associated with a violation of our terms, we may retain a minimal record (hashed identifier, reason) to prevent re-registration.
- Backups: Encrypted backups may persist for up to 90 days before being overwritten in the normal backup rotation.
Timing
Deletion is queued immediately when you confirm and is fully processed within 30 days. After processing, your data cannot be recovered.
